ABOUT US
We are the 4th generation working in the traditional poplar growing sector in Europe
Our business focuses on two sectors: the production of nurseries and improving the genetics of poplar trees.
We produce high-quality plants, by following our standards to guarantee the
success of the plantations for the market. The findings of our research improve the supply chain.
Alasia Vivai Italia specializes in the
production of poplar tree nurseries and the creation of new clones for traditional poplar cultivation and biomass
with two production models:
OUR NURSERIES
The success of a high-value poplar plantation begins with our nurseries.
Our mission is to develop supply chains for the production of timber in order to increase financial benefit of poplar growers and the processing industries, by adopting innovative techniques.
From the selection of new clones, to field tests, it is possible to
achieve better production
per hectare with added value. Our production standards, boasting almost half a century of experience and with
thousands of hectares planted throughout Europe, allows us to achieve notable results for the entire sector.

POPLAR CLONES
Our new generation of poplar hybrids is establishing itself more and more in the European market
Our company has a wide range of hybrids that come from our ambitious research programme.
Once all the selection phases have been passed and the programmed results have been obtained, the clones are grown in our nurseries before being distributed within the traditional poplar market.
Our nurseries only stock the very best clones
required by the global traditional poplar market.
