MDF / HDF Board
Medium-density fibreboards (MDF) and high-density fibreboards (HDF) are fabricated by wet or dry process, with the possible use of a synthetic binding material. Unlike wood fiber boards, these differ in their production process, their lower specific weight, their two perfectly smooth surfaces, their potential thickness. They are used for furniture, frames, wall systems, windows, doors and other items.
Medium rotation forestry (MRF) is the quickest system (5 years) for the supply of large volumes of material for the production of high-quality MDF and HDF boards. Tables 1 and 2 show the clones that are currently available at our headquarters, suitable for the production of MDF and HDF boards (AF2, AF3, AF13, AF16, AF18, AF24, AF28), as well as the countries where their cultivation is feasible.
We are currently able to produce from 250,000 to 400,000 tons of base material for each establishment; such amount can be increased upon request.
